Anxiety

Anxiety can be anything from a normal human feeling of occasional worry to an incapacitating loop of nervous emotions that can interfere with daily functioning.  Some people experience anxiety in the form of panic attacks, phobias, catastrophic thinking, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, excessive worry, or a general feeling of nervousness. If you are experiencing anxiety, you may experience some of the following symptoms:

  • Feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness

  • Obsessive thinking

  • Shortness of breath

  • Muscle tension

  • Irritability

  • Dizziness

  • Difficulty Sleeping

  • Fatigue

  • Panic attacks

  • Restlessness

  • Feeling overwhelmed

  • Inability to concentrate and/or make decisions

  • Heart palpitations


I know that anxiety is extremely difficult to endure.  Through my approach to anxiety counseling, I can help you reduce your symptoms, recognize contributing factors in your life, and learn coping skills to deal with your anxiety triggers.  Using a combination of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, hypnotherapy, and relaxation techniques, I can help you feel better and live a more beautiful and fulfilling life.
